Hi everybody,

In my original question I had asked about the maximum number of fields
in an AV32 ASCII TXT-table.

There still isn't a definite answer. Some were suggesting to try it out
which I had done with 1024 fields and it worked. ESRI-Germany also
replied that they couldn't find any maximum numbers but had tested it
for 3280 fields which had worked.

Lars Mietzner suggested to use Access DBMS instead.
